BBT co-founder Ilaria Borletti Buitoni introduces
BBT Communities, which made its first grants in June 2019, supporting organisations that impact the life of a community through music and make a real difference to people’s lives, whatever their age and wherever in the world they live.

Franco Buitoni
The late Franco Buitoni is remembered by Ilaria, Mitsuko Uchida, Jonathan Biss and Andrew Starling, who reflect on his lifetime of loving chamber music and the bonds he formed with so many musicians during his three decades at the helm of Amici della Musica Perugia and as co-founder of BBT.

BBT’s First Decade
In 2013, released to coincide with BBT Celebrated (the Trust’s Tenth Birthday event), co-founders Ilaria Borletti Butioni and Mitsuko Uchida reflect on the work of the trust, with a cast of BBT Award and Fellowship winners.

Wednesdays at Wilton’s
In 2015 BBT Wednesdays at Wilton’s helped to open the newly refurbished and expanded Music Hall in East London. In the small Cocktail Bar (capacity 35-40), BBT’s young musicians shared their virtuosity, experimentation and profound passion for their instruments and music.
