Anna Polonsky - About

I am very honoured to be awarded a BBT Fellowship and I hope that it will help me bring my musical ideals to a broader audience. Also, I am especially grateful and fortunate to benefit from the incredible mentorship of Mitsuko Uchida, both musically and professional.

Anna Polonsky (2004)

“Poised, skillful and sensitive” (New York Sun) just about sums up Russian-born pianist Anna Polonsky, who made the US her home in 1990. She is much in demand as a soloist and chamber musician performing with the world’s musical elite and touring throughout the United States as well as in Europe and Asia.

Anna’s BBT Fellowship funded several practical requirements including a photographic portfolio, the recording of a demo CD and travel costs for concerts and recordings in Europe.

Anna was supported with a BBT Fellowship between 2003 and 2006.
