Christian Poltéra made excellent use of his BBT Award to support three CD recordings on BIS, showcasing the (until now) little-known cello works of Swiss composers Othmar Schoeck, Frank Martin and Arthur Honegger. The first features Schoeck’s cello concerto and sonata, together with song transcriptions, with the pianist Julius Drake.
