A select group of BBT Winners has gained valuable experience through BBT’s tours with Mitsuko Uchida (2004 and 2008) and Christian Tetzlaff (2006). Shot on location in Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh and the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London, as the group prepared for their six-concert European tour, our film illustrates the value of the residency and the experience gained. Christianne Stotijn talks about the making of her first CD for Onyx Records of Schubert, Berg and Wolf songs – “Fantasies and dream-figures” – and her love of Mahler.
