I cannot thank BBT enough for giving me this award and all the support that goes with it. It came to me at a very crucial moment and has made a big difference to my life. I would like to thank all the people involved in this Trust for their dedication and enthusiasm. Your support and your belief in my talent has been second to none, and I will always be deeply grateful for the help I received.

Multi-award-winning Austrian mezzo-soprano Daniela Lehner studied in Vienna, Salzburg and London and enjoyed an early career singing with leading orchestras, opera companies and in recital at some of the UK and Europe’s top concert halls and festivals.

Daniela’s BBT Fellowship afforded her the opportunity to travel, have regular coaching, buy concert clothes and broaden her experience of music and opera in performance, through purchasing concert tickets and CDs as well as music scores. 

Daniela was supported with a BBT Award between 2008 and 2012.
