David Trio - About

This award and recognition was absolutely unexpected and confirms the hard work that has been done by the Trio. BBT leads its winners towards understanding the complicated ways to achieve international recognition, focusing in particular both on their artistic improvement and their relationships in the wider commercial music world. In a context where you are often left alone, BBT makes you feel accompanied with not just courtesy but also discretion.

Founded in Italy, the award-winning David Trio, comprised of distinguished chamber musicians in their own right, made its international debut in April 2004. As a member of the European Chamber Music Academy, the Trio became well-known through many live and broadcast concerts on the Italian concert scene, as well as at festivals in Europe, South America and the US.

With the support of its BBT Fellowship, the Trio recorded Schubert’s complete works for Piano Trio (Altara Classics) and was able to pursue further studies. The Trio was also invited to the Verbier Festival Academy as part of BBT’s support of its Chamber Music Programme from 2006 to 2009.

David Trio was supported with a BBT Fellowship between 2006 and 2009.
