Following his critically acclaimed debut recital CD of Ravel and Rachmaninov, pianist Hannes Minnaar’s CD Bach Inspirations, again supported by his 2011 Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship, features Bach transcriptions by Liszt, Busoni, Rachmaninov, Bauer and Vaughan Williams alongside works by Franck, Liszt and Grainger, all inspired by Bach. It is released on the Cobra Records label.
