With his 2007 Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship, cellist Julian Steckel decided to record cello concertos from three Jewish composers, Korngold, Bloch and Goldschmidt that reflect their destinies and the upheavals of the first half of the 20th century. The disc was released on the Avi Music label.
