Spanish oboist and Borletti-Buitoni Trust 2010 Fellowship recipient Ramón Ortega Quero, used some of his prize money for his debut recording on Solo Musica of French and Italian Baroque instrumental works, including such composers as Blavet, Dieupart, Veracini and Vivaldi. Shadows was released to coincide with his Rising Stars world tour in October 2010.
