BBT Celebrated

BBT20

BBT gave its first BBT Artists awards in 2003.  In the two decades since then there have been 119 awards encompassing 199 individual musicians, 21 of whom came together, with Mitsuko Uchida, to celebrate the Trust’s 20th anniversary over one long weekend in June 2023 in London. Starting with a world premiere BBT commission (there have been over 50 BBT commissions to date) from Kate Whitley, given by her Multi-Story forces and three BBT alumni at Bold Tendencies in Peckham, the focus then moved to Wigmore Hall for four concerts with artists from around the globe.

For the 20th anniversary we published a brochure detailing the 20-year History of BBT. Download a pdf of it here: BBT 20th Anniversary Brochure
